Rudolf Stoitzner (Austrian, 1873 - 1933) 

This beautiful still life oil on canvas of an assortment of cut flowers in a vase on a table measures 24" x 18" or in the period wood frame dimensions of 27" x 21" and is signed lower left, R. Stoitzner. This nearly century old oil painting is in good condition with no paint loss or in painting and is a quintessential representation of his works. 

Biography: 
Rudolf Stoitzner, a well listed artist born in Vienna in 1873, was a member of a well- known family of artists, his brothers Karl Siegfried Stoitzner and Konstantin Stoitzner being renowned painters. The artist began studying under his brother Konstantin and then in Dresden and Berlin. He died in Vienna in 1933.
